The Fondazione Gino Macaluso at the Polytechnic of Turin
The Fondazione Gino Macaluso per l’Auto Storica has organized a cycle of three seminars for the students of Automotive Engineering of the Polytechnic of Turin, three moments of meeting and training held by Sergio Limone, member of the Scientific Committee of the Foundation, former student of the Polytechnic and designer of some of the most famous rally cars of the past, including the Lancia Rally 037.
The seminars, organized under the patronage of the Italian Automobile Club and ACI Storico, are part of a broader project with which the Foundation intends to disseminate knowledge and skills related to the Italian experience in the history of Motorsport.
The cycle saw the students of the Polytechnic visit the headquarters of the Fondazione, to admire the motorsport collection and the workshop, with the exceptional guide of Sergio Limone; the meetings then moved to the Polytechnic, where Limone illustrated the history of the most significant Lancia cars of the seventies and eighties, which brought the Turin manufacturer to world-class results.
