Concorso d’Eleganza – Trieste
The Fondazione Gino Macaluso has participated in the Concorso d’Eleganza Città di Trieste, from May the 20th to the 23 th, organized by ACI Storico with Automobile Club Trieste, by the AAVS – Historical Vehicle Amateurs Association and by the Municipality of Trieste with the patronage of the Automobile Club of Italy and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. It is a competition at its second edition that is growing by focusing on the culture of conservative restoration of historic car, in which value the Fondazione Gino Macaluso deeply believes.
The Fondazione’s collection has been awarded with the Best in Class years 60, to the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada and Best in Class years 70 for the Lamborghini Miura P400 SV. We thank the jury composed by Angelo Sticchi Damiani, President of Automobile Club d’Italia, Lorenzo Boscarelli (president of the Italian Association for the History of the Automobile), David Giudici, director of Ruote Classiche, Youngtimeri Italia and Auto Italiana with the technical-historical support of Dino Cognolato, among the most famous restorers worldwide and Gaetano Derosa, deputy editor-in-chief of Ruoteclassiche.
